Lantana, FL.- Kelsey Gerald may be the most polarizing 2027 Running back prospect in South Florida. At 6 foot 190 lbs, the 3-Star back from Santaluces was a forced to be reckoned with during his junior season, bulldozing his way to the first 1,000 yard rushing season in program history, ending the year with 1,600 All Purpose yards.
Kelsey Gerald is a do-it-all back, that makes positive contributions in the receiving game, while also recording numerous yards after contact. Gerald is the definition of an offensive ticking time bomb, because it’s a matter of when, not if, he breaks off an explosive carry for big gains. Kelsey Gerald was the workhorse for Santaluces last season, willing a stagnant offense into victory.

After such an impressive campaign, Kelsey Gerald currently stands at 29 Division I FBS Offers, including the reigning National Champion Indiana Hoosiers. As his recruitment process begins to narrow down, Kelsey has scheduled his first four Official Visits for the following weekends:
– Pitt (May 28-30th)
⁃ Purdue (June 11-14th)
⁃ Iowa (June 5-7th)
⁃ Kentucky (June 19-21st)
When asked about what he’s looking for the most in his future school, Kelsey had this to say:
“What I look for in a program is a place with great development, a history of developing and sending backs to the NFL. I want to be a part of a long history of elite running backs. Another big thing for me is a program who isn’t afraid of playing younger guys who are ready to roll!”
Kelsey Gerald currently has only those two visits scheduled, but expect Indiana and Florida State to play major roles for the final visit and the future of his recruitment.
