Raleigh, NC.- Breaking News: Santaluces (FL) DB Caden Gordon verbally commits to NC State University!

Gordon made his decision public this afternoon (June 12) via his social media accounts.

Gordon, a 3-Star 6 foot 1 DB chose NC State over ACC rivals including Florida State and Georgia Tech. After taking an Official Visit to Raleigh last weekend (June 7-9), Caden closed out his recruitment process and locked in with the Wolfpack. He will be joining current Chiefs teammate, WR Jamar Browder, who verbally committed earlier this week.

Caden Gordon is a fast and physical Defensive Back that specializes in man coverage. His aggressive play style is a staple of a shutdown Santaluces defense.

It appears that secondary is a focal point of the NC State 2025 recruiting class. The Wolfpack have now secured three defensive back commits including Gordon, 3-Star Robert Jones III, and 3-Star Tristan Teasdell. NC State has been making a legitimate push to secure themselves as a top contender in the ACC
