LAKE WORTH – Terry Hunter Jr. lets his play do the talking for him.

As a leader by example, he did his part to help get the Lake Worth Trojans the redemptive season they were looking for last year (4-6 final record). With his tenacious level of play on both sides of the ball, Hunter Jr. tallied 26 carries for 263 yards (offense), while adding 59 solo tackles, 3 fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception (defense).

Hunter Jr. (5-foot-9, 175 pounds) had his best game in Week 10’s 48-20 win over John I. Leonard. The incoming senior was one of our Breakthrough Player of Week 10 nominees, as he recorded 7 carries for 114 yards (offense), while adding 8 tackles and 1 foreced fumble (defense).

While Hunter Jr. has some Hudl tape out right now, no colleges have shown him any interest for some reason. Hopefully his college recruiting situation changes for the better sometime soon.

“All this means is that I have to work harder and achieve more,” Hunter Jr. said.

At this time, Hunter Jr. is considered to be one of our best defensive back (safeties) in Palm Beach County, as he is on our Close to 5 positional rankings list.
