As his commitment date moves closer, one of the best wideouts has narrowed his list to three teams.
In a post on his social media accounts, Jayden Elder announced that his remaining teams are USF, Cincinnati, and Duke. Additionally, he set his commitment date for June 26th, per his Instagram post. Elder, over the coming month, has official visits set to all three schools. The Spanish River standout will be at USF on June 5, at Cincinnati on June 12, and at Duke on June 19.

All three of Duke, Cincinnati, and USF should be thrilled to be the finalists for Elder, as he is a wideout who can make great things happen for an offense.
Whether it was at practice, in intrasquad scrimmages, or at the Spanish River Jamboree, Elder continues to get better every time he steps on the field. His route running is not only smooth, but he is also able to play through contact at a high level. I was very impressed with Elder’s ability to operate over the middle of the field and make plays after the catch. This was especially the case at the Spanish River Jamboree, where Elder turned multiple short passes into chunk gains.
Elder’s best skill, though, is his speed. The wideout has an effortless way that he moves down the field, and, more impressively, a second gear that he can hit to turn deep passes into deep touchdowns. This not only showed up in Spanish River’s intersquad game, but also was the reason the Sharks defeated Jupiter this spring.

It will be fascinating to see who ultimately emerges as the school for Elder, as USF, Cincinnati, and Duke all provide high-level opportunities for him. But make no mistake that, no matter where he goes, Elder has the skills and upside to make a name for himself the minute he steps onto a college campus.
