The Miami Hurricanes bounced back on Thursday night following their first loss of the season to Florida on Monday, defeating Elon 99-72. The Hurricanes scored over 95 points for the third time in five games, with all starters landing in double figures.
Despite a close first half with Miami only leading by 7 going into the break, the Canes would outscore Elon by 20 in the second half led by another explosive offensive performance.
Standout true freshman Shelton Henderson had his name all over the first half, scoring 16 of his 18 points in the first 20 minutes of play and ending the game shooting 66% from the field.

This was a much needed win as it puts Miami back in stride after suffering their first loss this past Sunday night. Miami will be back at the Watsco Center on Sunday as they host Delaware State at 1:00 with an opportunity to improve to 5-1, before heading up to Orlando on Thanksgiving Thursday with a big opportunity against #9 BYU.
