SUNRISE, FL.- The second game of the 2023 Orange Bowl Classic double did not disappoint. Out of all the teams represented, Florida had the most fans in attendance. The Gator faithful was loud and proud for their squad.

To open the game, the Gators put on a clinic as they were draining three pointers and knocking down dunks. At the first TV timeout (13:41 remaining in the first), the Gators led Richmond 16-10.

Despite the early success, Richmond never let UF pull away, as they maintained only a single digit deficit during the first half. At the end of the first, Florida led Richmond 40-30.

To start the second half, Richmond came out swinging, going on an 8-3 run. After back and forth scoring, UF took all the momentum. Midway through the half, Gator SF, Will Richard, drained two consecutive threes to set the arena ablaze.

Over time, UF extended their lead to a eleven point margin. As time expires, Florida defeats Richmond 87-76. Will Richard was named game MVP with a 21 Point and 7 Rebound performance.

Florida improves to 6-3 on the regular season. The Gators will travel home to host East Carolina on December 14. Tip off is slated for 7:00 P.M.
