DELRAY- The Epic Elite 7v7 tryout and showcase brought out some of the best talent in Palm Beach County.
Head Coach Ian Headley, assistants Wayne Moore and Harela Zafir of the Epic Elite 7v7 team held their annual tryout at Merritt Park, in the heart of Delray Beach.
High School athletes from all over Palm Beach County came out to earn a spot on the nationally recognized Epic Elite team.
Athletes from Dwyer, Boynton, Atlantic, Boca, Spanish River, American Heritage-Delray, and more.
With all of the talent on hand Saturday morning, head coach Ian Headley had some tough decisions to make at the conclusion of the Epic Elite tryout.
A total of 24 student athletes made the cut for the 2017 Epic Elite 7v7 team. The names are listed below:

Coach Headley was pleased with the level of competition at the Epic Elite tryout and showcase. “There was a lot of great competition and talent out here today.” He said.
When asked about the expectations for this years team coach Headley simply stated “It’s national championship or nothing for us.”
Although coach Headley has national championship aspirations for his Epic Elite team, he also cares about his student athletes moving on to the next level.
“Exposure , I really want to get the kids exposure on the national level which could potentially lead to earning a scholarship and lead to the student athletes achieving a higher education.” He said.
Expect big things this off season from the Epic Elite 7v7 team as they look to improve on last years national championship run.
