Royal Palm Beach, FL.- Breaking: Royal Palm Beach High School has announced their intentions to promote former Offensive Coordinator Sam Curry to their Head Coach position, following the departure of Coach Chuck Kenyon earlier this week.

On Monday (April 21), it was announced that Coach Chuck Kenyon would be stepping away from the program, and the Wildcats were quick to name the programs next head man- Sam Curry.

Over the past three seasons, the Kenyon era of Royal Palm Beach football has been a steady rebuild. From going 2-8 in year one (2022) to 7-3 this past season, the trajectory of Wildcat football continues to swing in an upwards trajectory.

Coach Curry has been an instrumental piece in the rebirth of “the new Royal”, orchestrating one of the 561’s highest flying offenses led by 2027 QB Maxwell Griner and 2028 ATH Demetrius Gibson. The RPB Wildcats ended last season averaging 280 yards of total offense per game, alongside 23.7 PPG.

Coach Sam’s ties to the community of Royal Palm Beach root far deeper than just the high school, serving as the Vice President of the Royal Palm Beach WIldcat’s’ Youth Football League. Coach Curry is an influential pillar in the community of Royal Palm Beach, and will continue to develop the culture of success, and the growth of athletes from the area for a very long time.
