JUPITER, FLA. – Week One in Palm Beach County has came and it is gone, tonight brought us exciting action, including the traditional Battle for Military Trail.
While the scoreboard showed a far gap between the two teams, the quality of play did not disappoint.
Starting things off Andrew Embick continued to use his hot arm as he found Ayden Passley in the corner of the end zone to put the Warriors up 7-0 with four minutes left in the first quarter.
Dwyer would make a couple of offensive efforts after the touchdown to even the affair but couldn’t get anything done as Jupiter would score immediately on the first play of the second quarter to put Jupiter out in front 14-0.
Not much longer after, Jupiter would get another touchdown as Rhys Hall would get his own corner touchdown of his own to get Jupiter out in front 21-0.
Embick would have himself a day as he would have three passing touchdowns before halftime, already posting himself up to be one of the top quarterbacks in the county.
Action would slow down in the game as there would be no score for the rest of the second quarter, followed by no score the entire third quarter.
Dwyer, would finally see their first points of the game as Shawn Clark would get an interception and take it back to the crib to lessen the gap.
Jupiter, however, would respond by getting another touchdown after a series of strong defensive stands, as Jayden Roberts would get his second touchdown of the night, this time on the ground.
Dwyer would play the hurry-up offense to get back into the game but a crucial interception in the back of the endzone with less than a minute and a half would seal the deal for the Warriors, marking their fourth straight “Battle for Military Trail” victory.
