Boulder, CO – Deion Sanders held a press conference before the start of fall camp, revealing his recent health situation.
Dr Janet Kukreja, sitting with Sanders, revealed that he had a high-grade bladder tumor named “High Risk Bladder Cancer.” The treatment given to him was “full bladder removal” and “creation of a new bladder.” The results of the surgery reported Prime as cancer-free!
According to the conference, this was Surgery #14 since 2021 for Prime, Coach thanked his doctors for making the process as smooth as possible for him. He went on to convey that his sons Sheduer and Shilo haven’t been aware of the situation so they can be focused on making their respective NFL teams. Deion’s oldest son Deion Sanders Jr. CEO of Well Off Media, has been by his side through the whole process.

Prime explained how he can no longer control his bladder and sends love and appreciation to all the others dealing with the same situation as him.
Sanders and Lauren Askevold explained that there were periods where he could get out of bed for “a week at a time.”
“I’m Able. I’m Strong. I’m Ready.” We’re some of Coach’s final words in the opening statements “It has been a tremendous journey and I’m truly thankful that God is so good, said Coach.”
"You have no idea how good God has been to me."
