USF-The University of South Florida Baseball team closes out their 60th season with having received three new Pro bulls to their roster in the 2025 MLB draft.
Bulls’ Head Coach Mitch Hannah caps off an incredible year one by sending three players to the Show. All three selections came from the bullpen- Bryce Archie, Corey Braun, and Austin Newton, making them the first Pro-Bull draft selections since 2022.
Left handed Corey Braun because the first Bull in this draft, going to the Oakland Athletics in the 8th round. Braun pitched the bulls all season long in a regular rotation. He carried the team best with a 3.71 ERA with 97 innings and strikeouts. Leading the most wins in staff, Braun had 8.

Right hander Austin Newton, was selected by Colorado Rockies in the 10th round. Newtons eye opener performance was in the recent AAC Tournament bring the bulls to the semifinals with a six strike out career high.

Dual sport athlete and Right hand pitcher Archie, was a 14th round pick selected by the Cincinnati Reds. Archie was known for his big opening to the Florida State Seminoles resulting in four strike outs in three innings, holding the No. 9 Noles to just 3 hits.
