HOLLYWOOD- To nobody’s surprise, the ‘Nade boys have punched their ticket to the FHSAA Class 1M State Finals.
During tonight’s matchup, Chaminade Madonna dominated Archbishop Carrol on all fronts. The victory was headlined by two touchdown performances from nationally ranked receivers, Jeremiah Smith and Joshisa Trader.
Jeremiah Smith set the tone with a deep trick play touchdown to Trader. The five-star Miami commit receiver was wide open and easily found the endzone. This wasn’t the only time Trader scored, as QB Cedric Bailey found him again for another wide open mid range strike.
Five-Star receiver Jeremiah Smith had himself a night as well, recording two total touchdowns. Bailey found Smith for an easy touchdown late in the first quarter. As time winds down in the third quarter, the Ohio State commit took a direct snap for a 50+ yard touchdown rush, carelessly weaving between the defense.
Cedric Bailey’s dominance didn’t stop there, as he found sophomore star Denairius Gray for a goal line TD. The NC State commit QB had himself an offensive masterclass.
All in all, it was too easy for the ‘Nade Boys!
Chaminade Madonna will face the winner of Clearwater Central Catholic and Trinity Christian Academy for the Class 1M State Championship. The State Championship will be held December 7th at Florida A&M University
