It’s camp season around the country, as colleges are hosting high school players at their respective prospect camps during these next couple of summer months. Florida Atlantic and Florida State hosted a two-session camp on Wednesday, which was held at the Owls’ practice fields.

Here are just a few of the many standouts from the camp, along with notes regarding the top performers.

Session 1- Luke Chaney:

Jupiter Christian’s (Fla.) Dorian Fauntleroy stood out among the quarterbacks. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound signal-caller is a riser in the 2027 class, as he’s picked up recent offers from UCF and Western Kentucky, in addition to his offer from Arkansas in January. The football really pops from Fauntleroy’s arm. His frame is very impressive for a rising junior.

– There was also a lot to like from 2026 Westminster (Fla.) quarterback Cortland Brownfield. With offers from Bethune-Cookman and Grambling State, Brownfield has a quick release and solid overall mechanics. He’ll be one to watch on a Westminster squad that went 5-4 last season.

– FSU gave 2026 Fort Myers (Fla.) defensive lineman Judah Daniels his first offer on June 1. Daniels, who also plays on the offensive line, looked fluid when operating on the defensive line. He moves very well at his 6-foot-3, 265-pound size.

West Broward (Fla.) offensive tackle Alejandro Schmitt had one of the most impressive frames of the players in attendance. The 6-foot-6 and now 300-pound lineman in the 2026 class has a solid list of offers that include the likes of West Virginia, Florida, Pittsburgh, Florida Atlantic and others.

– 2027 Spanish River (Fla.) wide receiver Jayden Elder is a name to monitor as he looks to build off a solid sophomore campaign at West Boca (Fla.)

2027 Melbourne Central Catholic (Fla.) wide receiver Noah Flores ran the fastest 40-yard dash of the morning with a blazing 4.50 time, nearly a whole tenth of a second faster than the next time.

Session 2- Christian Proscia:

The QB room was commanded by Palm Beach Central’s Chance Routson (’26), and West Broward’s 3-Star Jack Spaeder (’27).

⁃ Routson, a local gunslinger from the 561 continued his elite performances on the camp scene. Chance’s fundamentals were the most polished out of all the passers and the arm certainly didn’t disappoint. Dominated the 1on1’s. Offers- Florida Atlantic, Georgia St, UMass, UConn, Wofford, West Georgia, Navy, Florida International

⁃ Spaeder picks up off an impressive first spring at West Broward by a great showing yesterday. Jack was making numerous ‘wow’ throws throughout 1on1’s. Offers- Bethune Cookman, Georgia St, Akron, Arkansas.

Miami Norland TE Trae Proctor (’27) was on fire all day, being a top performer during indy drills and 1on1’s. Proctor was a matchup nightmare during 1on1’s, using his size and freakish athleticism to his advantage. NFL HOF’er and Owls Director of Player Engagement; Cris Carter was seen personally coaching up Proctor throughout the day Offers- Florida Atlantic, Miami, Florida State, Akron, FIU

Centennial (Port St Lucie) DB Sebastian Polynice (’26) was the most physical DB in attendance. Natural quickness, fast feet and elite ball skills played into Polynice’s success as he’d come away with multiple PBU’s and an Interception on the day. Offers- Ft. Lauderdale (NCCAA D1).

IMG Academy WR Michael Ceville-Rogers (’29) didn’t care that he was one of the younger skill guys on the field. He just went and dominated. The 6 foot 3 14 year old showcased an incredible mastery of the route tree- paired with secure hands and freakish athleticism. Yeah, this kid’s going to be a problem on Friday nights. Offers- Syracuse, Sacramento St.
