TALLAHASSEE- Florida State University has their eyes set on Palm Beach County.

In the past few months, Coach Mike Norvell and his staff have been able to lock in three of the 561’s best players for their 2024 recruiting class. These local stars are the #1 Kicker in the class of 2024, Jake Weinberg (American Heritage Delray), 3-star Linebacker, Jayden Parrish (Atlantic), and 4-star Defensive back, Ricky Knight III (Cardinal Newman).

When asked about what the biggest selling point for FSU was, all three recruits had the same answer:

Culture

“The reason why I chose FSU is because of the culture and coaching staff. The program is on the rise and Coach Norvell is just getting started.” Weinberg said. “Coach Norvell is going to make sure that we are going to be a top tier team for a long time.”

“I chose FSU because every time I visited they were welcoming and showed me nothing but love.” Knight said. “They never switched up on me since day 1 and everyone on staff believed in me.”

“FSU is a great place to help you develop on and off the field.” Parrish said. “They have a very long track record of making great players elite.”

Mike Norvell is entering his fourth season as the Seminoles head coach. Since his hiring, Coach Norvell has led FSU to become one of the best teams in college football. Coach Norvell’s extreme “passion and desire for excellence” (Weinberg) proves why top recruits from all over the country commit to play for him.

With the future additions of our three Palm Beach County stars, Florida State is going to be a powerhouse throughout college football for many years to come.
