The True North Titans punched their ticket to Round 3 of the playoffs with a dominant 62–28 win over Saint Andrew’s, fueled by an explosive performance from quarterback Zac Katz. From the opening drive, Katz proved he was a dangerous player on the field, hitting Malik Penson for the first touchdown of the game and setting the tone for a night- the Titans controlled from start to finish. The FIU committed gunslinger would go onto throw three more scores, while also calling his own number and rushing for another.

St Andrews would show off their resilience, as late in the first quarter QB Jack Williams connected with WR Wes Winn, tying the game 7–7. The Scots’ opening scoring drive was thrusted by two 15+ rushes by RB Remi De’Orsey, and the first Williams to Winn catch, before their second hookup ultimately tied things.

Two plays into the third quarter, and a costly fumble recovery by the Titans served as the catalyst to blow this game open. True North would go up 28-14 on the aforementioned QBKeep by Katz, who would then find Kemari Morrison and Kamari Bailey for two more Titan passing touchdowns. Zac Katz would throw his final score of the game early in the fourth, this time in way to 8th grade back Gregory Florence.

Unfortunately for St Andrews- this offensive resurgence would be too little too late, as Kemari Morrison would seal the game with yet another rushing score. (62-28 final).
Following the win, True North’s star passer Zac Katz had this to say about the Titan win:
“I feel great! It was a great team win…” Katz shared. “We started off slow but all the pieces got put together at halftime and we dominated.”
