UCF basketball wins annual Orange Bowl Classic game against former conference foe Tulsa

SUNRISE, FL – Old conference foes reunited today at Amerant Bank Arena as the current Big 12 Conference member, the UCF Knights, faced the current American Conference member, the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes. UCF managed to take the win 88-75. UCF moves to 8-2 while Tulsa falls to 4-7.

The game was close until the end, the Knights pulling away with around 3 minutes left in the game.

The MVP award went to UCF star Dallan Coleman, who scored a team high 20 points and shot 6-8 from the paint. Some other key players to the game for the Knights were Jord Ivy-Curry, who scored 16 points, Keyshawn Hall, who scored 14 points, and Moustapha Thiam, who scored 14 points as well.

UCF will travel the 4 hours back to Orlando to face Jacksonville University a week from today on December 21st at 6:00 PM. As for Tulsa, they will travel home and play Mississippi Valley State a week from today on December 21st at 3:00 PM.
