The South Florida Bulls host the South Carolina State Bulldogs this Saturday. It’s the Bulls’ last non-conference game after a rough loss against No. 4 University of Miami.

Quarterback Byrum Brown Threw for 274 yards and completed 20 of his 36 passes. Defensively, this was the most points USF has given up since their last game against Miami.
Defending MEAC champions, SC State, aim to get its first-ever win over an FBS program. Both programs enter the game 2-1.
“You watch the film, there’s not just talent at spots, the scheme matches the talent. It’s an extremely well-coached team, they play extremely hard, and they are explosive on both sides of the ball,” head coach Alex Golesh said.
Golesh raved about his young players’ performance in last week’s game. Freshman wide receiver Christian Neptune had the only receiving touchdown, along with 32 receiving yards and seven receptions.
“Christian Neptune, who came in and through these first couple weeks, you felt like man, this guy between him and Moody Rubin gives you the best opportunity to go win in there,” Golesh said.
The game kicks off at 12 pm on Sept. 20 at Raymond James Stadium and can be watched on ESPN.
