Greenville, SC – Boston University Transfer F Channing Warren has announced her commitment to Furman University this Thursday Morning. Warren, who appeared in 24 games for the Terriers, dropped a season high 15 points and six rebounds in just 15 minutes at Yale on December 29th, including a 7-0 run by herself, earning her the Patriot League Rookie of the Week award.

Channing comes from Timber Creek HS in Orlando with appearances in the state tournament all four years as well as being named all Orlando Metro Conference twice. She’ll add to a Furman team that’s improved each of the past 3 seasons, including an appearance in the SoCon semis last year.

“Thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who’s supported me throughout this transfer journey,” She said via Instagram.

Furman will look to improve once again this season and win the SoCon and reach March Madness for the first time since 2000.
