PALM BEACH GARDENS – Benjamin (2-0) made the most of its Week 3 home game against Clearwater Academy International this past Friday night (Sept. 8).
We had amazing performances from several players in the Buccaneers 27-21 win over the Knights.
Our MVP of Week 3 and Special Teams MVP of 3 is senior athlete Jacob Cosby-Mosley (‘24), who pledged his verbal commitment to Wake Forest on the very next day (Sept. 9). He posted the following statistics against the state’s then-No. 11/now-No. 29-ranked team, according to MaxPreps:
•2 catches, 49 yards, 1 touchdown run of 44 yards as a runner
•7 catches, 107 yards, 2 touchdowns; long of 42 yards as a receiver
•3 punts for 127 yards; long of 61 yards as a punter
Meanwhile, our Offensive Player of Week 3 is senior running back and Georgia verbal commit Chauncey Bowens (‘24). He posted the following statistics:
•21 carries, 77 yards, 1 touchdown
•2 catches, 31 yards

Our Defensive Player of Week 3 is junior defensive end Amaree Williams (‘25). Here are his statistics from this past game:
•2 catches, 81 yards on offense at wide receiver
•5 tackles; 1 tackle for loss on defense at defensive end
