The West Boca Bulls earned a decisive 31–0 win over the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats on Friday night, controlling the game from start to finish with efficient offense and solid defense.
West Boca quarterback Trey Moran opened the scoring with a short quarterback keeper in the first quarter. Moran later connected with Billy Clancy III for another touchdown, putting the Bulls up 12–0 midway through the first.
Before the quarter ended, running back Anderson Gracilien broke multiple tackles and took off for a 50-plus-yard touchdown run, giving West Boca a 19–0 advantage after one.
The Wildcats found a brief spark in the second quarter when Raoul Brown intercepted a pass with just over seven minutes left. However, play was halted soon after due to lightning in the area.
When the game resumed, West Boca picked up right where they left off. Quinton Miller Jr. found the end zone on long run, extending the Bulls’ lead to 25–0 with under six minutes left in the half. Just before halftime, Amari Ford intercepted a Wildcats pass to stop a promising drive.
In the fourth quarter, Demetrice Rolle intercepted a pass for Royal Palm Beach, but a botched snap gave the ball right back to West Boca. The Bulls capitalized when Moran connected with Jayden Lockhart for a late touchdown, pushing the lead to 31–0.
With under four minutes left, Delorean Airall Jr. sealed the shutout with an interception in the end zone. The Bulls then ran out the clock to secure the win.
Royal Palm Beach will host Palm Beach Gardens next week, while West Boca travels to face Cardinal Newman in a key matchup.
