In 2025, Jerry broke onto the scene in a major way. The defensive back posted 79 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and three sacks. He had four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one fumble recovery touchdown as well.
Asked about his visit to UConn, Jerry spoke highly of a specific coach on the staff.
“The connection Coach Mike (LBs Coach Mickey Jacobs) and I have been building over the past weeks has been very great! He’s been showing me that I am a priority and wants me on campus ASAP!”
Additionally, Jerry spoke about what he is looking for in a program at the next level.
“I want a program that has interest in me and has a vision/plan for me in the future. I am looking for a program where I will play, has a great culture, and is somewhere I can develop on and off the field.”
Jerry mentioned Mississippi State, UCF, FSU, Louisville, USF, and Kentucky as other schools he has some interest in. According to 24/7 Sports’ Composite Rankings, Jerry is currently the #63 safety in the country and the #628 player in the country. Based on his skill set, level of play, and interested schools, there should be plenty more high-level visits in the defensive back’s near future.
