One of the main standouts for West Boca Raton’s defense is down to his final four schools in his recruitment process.

In a post from Michael Davies (@mdaviesdesign_), Larry Morgan revealed his finalists as USF, Tulane, Michigan State, and Kansas State. After his official visits to his finalists over the next few weeks, the defensive back will make his commitment on June 20th.

Playing a major role for the West Boca defense in 2025, Morgan had 21 tackles, 13 of which were solo. He had one tackle for loss, an interception, three passes defended, and a forced fumble.

In the spring, Morgan looked to have improved even further as a defensive back. As a run defender, the rising senior was very physical against blocks and flew downhill in an impressive way. In coverage, Morgan was lockdown on countless reps throughout practice and full-speed game action. He dominated press coverage reps at the line of scrimmage, ran step-for-step with wideouts deep down the field, and closed quickly on passes for pass breakups. Morgan’s technique was top-notch, as were his instincts whenever he stepped onto the field.

Whether it is the Wildcats, Bulls, Spartans, or Green Wave, Morgan looks to be the type of player who can help a college defense in a variety of ways. He has the speed to play outside or in the slot, and if he puts on weight, I think he has the instincts to play the safety position. Morgan also has the right mindset to be a consistent and immediate contributor; this was evident in the spring, as Morgan was always hard at work on something with his coaches at West Boca.

The official visits will play a huge role in how Morgan’s recruitment will ultimately shape up, especially as the defensive back’s commitment date approaches. But no matter where he lands, the West Boca DB looks to be in a great spot, especially with four quality programs to choose from.
