WELLINGTON, FLA – Week Four brings a plethora of good games in Palm Beach County and the Wellington Cup is shaping up to be one of the best.

#9 Wellington is set to host #5 Palm Beach Central in one of the county’s most hyped up rivalries. Both teams come into this one 3-0, Wellington defeating Park Vista, Seminole Ridge, and Westwood. Palm Beach Central took care of Park Vista as well as Glades Central and Garcia.

Wellington is off to its’ first 3-0 start since 2012. The Wolverines are looking to continue to build momentum and re-establish themselves as one of the county’s top teams.

On the other hand, Palm Beach Central looks to continue their hot start after a slow one last season. The Broncos have controlled what they can control so far and still have the opportunity to run the table and go undefeated.

Palm Beach Central has won the last 11 Wellington Cup Games, and is looking to continue that behind their solid offense and lockdown defense.

Isaiah Hamilton has been able to find Logan Lindsey-Hartwig and the rest of the WR core constantly this season, and Brandon Pendergrass has played good football on the ground.

As for Wellington, they’ve been winning convincingly. After a close game with Park Vista in week one the Wolverines have scored over 60 points in the past two weeks and have given up just 8. Tarrens Catul and Jay’lan Tyler have been the catalysts’ for the Wolverines offense. Defensively it’s been Geo Quintas and Dylan Miller holding it down. Additionally, we’ve seen Tarrens Catul and Deandre King come up big in the secondary

This highly-anticipated game kicks off at 6:30pm Thursday, September 10th
