NC State football is finally back at Carter-Finley Stadium this Friday night as the Wolfpack gets ready to take on the Richmond Spiders. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and after a rough start to the season, NC State will be looking to bounce back in front of its home crowd.

The Wolfpack opened the year with a 34-8 loss against Virginia, so there’s definitely a lot they’ll want to clean up heading into Friday. The offense struggled to get going in the opener, but quarterback CJ Bailey and the rest of the offense now get another chance to settle in and find a rhythm.

Richmond comes into Raleigh looking to make some noise of its own, so NC State can’t overlook this game. The Wolfpack has dominated the all-time matchup, winning 18 of the 20 previous meetings, but the last meeting was a close one. NC State escaped with a 23-21 win back in 2013.

Friday night will also be the first chance for Wolfpack fans to pack Carter-Finley this season. With a home crowd behind them and a chance to put the season-opening loss in the past, NC State has plenty to play for.
