DELRAY BEACH – Camden Brown has been growing up right before our eyes.

As a sophomore, the 6-foot-4, 190-pound athlete caught 27 passes for 381 yards and 2 touchdowns at wide receiver. And at cornerback, the 2022 standout hauled in 4 interceptions at American Heritage (Delray Beach).

Brown picked up three offers from Syracuse, Kentucky, and Indiana in the offseason. All this happened while he was with the Stallions.

But as of Monday (June 22), Brown announced on his Twitter account that he will transfer to St. Thomas Aquinas.

For the next two seasons, we will likely get to see Brown blossom even further with the defending GEICO national champions, who finished with a 15-0 record and Class 7A state title this past season. He will play with several other Raiders teammates who are from Palm Beach County: linebacker and Under Armour All-American Jaydon Hood (2021), lineman Gunnar Hansen (2021), linebacker Jordan Kolnick (2021), running back Anthony Hankerson (2022), and defensive back Blake Volcy (2022).

Brown teamed up with Hansen and Volcy this past season at American Heritage. And to go back even further, Brown and Hansen were teammates at Spanish River for the 2018 season.

The Louisiana native played for the South Florida Express 7-on-7 team this past offseason. He also had the opportunity to compete against some elite talent in the Rivals Camp Series this past February.

We will be following the second half of Brown’s high school football journey at St. Thomas Aquinas. We wish him the best in all things.
