JUPITER,FL.- Breaking News: Jupiter High Quarterback, Luke Douglas (’24) announces his commitment to……Florida State University!
Douglas announced his collegiate decision today (February 7), at the beautiful Bluepointe Bar and Grill, surrounded by his closest family and friends.
Luke Douglas was the definition of a true athlete during his senior season. During the 2023 season, Douglas shined at quarterback, while also lining up at cornerback and safety. At the end of his senior season, Luke Douglas recorded:
2,114 passing yards
21 passing touchdowns
298 rushing yards
12 rushing touchdowns
21 total tackles
2 Tackles for Loss
1 Forced Fumble
3 interceptions
During his breakout senior season, Luke Douglas received numerous accolades, including:

Douglas also explained to me FSU Coach Mike Norvell’s intention for him is to flip his position from quarterback to tight end. At 6 foot 5, Luke will pair his natural size and athleticism to become a physical playmaker for the next three to four years in Tallahassee.
Luke Douglas now becomes the fifth member of Palm Beach County’s class of 2024 to continue their academic and athletic careers at Florida State: Amaree Williams (DE/TE Benjamin), Ricky Knight III (DB Cardinal Newman), Jayden Parrish (LB Atlantic), Jake Weinberg (K American Heritage Delray).
