The biggest game of the year is here. Atlantic will face off West Boca (Bulls) this Friday at 6:30.
Atlantic is looking for revenge against West Boca after a tough loss from last year. Last year they played each other in the first round of playoffs. The entire game went back and forth but the Bulls secured the win 23-22, to move on to the second round.
Both teams are having an impressive season thus far. Atlantic is 7-1, and averaging 40 points per game. West Boca is one of the only undefeated teams left at 8-0. The Bulls have also had 3 shutout games so far.
Atlantic has some of the top players not only in the county but also in the state. Lincoln Garf (QB) is ranked 3rd in the state for 1890 passing yards. Samual Bryant lll is a 6’1, 220 lbs, (OLB, MLB, DE) with 52 tackles this year. He is number 1 in the district and averages almost 7 tackles per game.
Also, Atlantic has had notable transfers to this year’s team. Including 4 star Deandre Desinor (RB) and 3 star, FAU commit, Teddy Hoffman. Teddy actually beat the Bulls on St. Andrew’s last year.
West Boca has extremely talented players too. With key transfer Mark Hanniford (WR), who actually played for Atlantic last season.
The Bulls also have the best of the best. Like, Xavier Reid. Reid is a 6’1, 260 lbs, junior, Xavier averages 6.6 tackles per game, with a total of 53 just this year. Javian Mallory is a junior (RB) for West Boca. According to 247sports and 247sports composite he is a 4 star, in both he is ranked top 40 in Florida.
With the history that these two teams have this game will be the fight of the year! Will Atlantic get their revenge or will West Boca reign once again?
