The summer of Dia Bell continues to be in full effect.

American Heritage’s 5-Star QB has had an incredible build up to his senior season. In the middle of February, the 6 foot 2 Texas commit garnered his first five star rating via ON3. Dia’s elite play on the gridiron and on the camp scene backed up the rating and silenced any critics.

In June, Dia Bell was invited to the Elite11, the most prestigious camp for the nation’s top Quarterbacks. It did not take long for Dia to stand apart from the other talented QB’s, earning MVP honors of the first practice. Bell continued dominating the circuit all weekend, inevitably earning MVP honors from the whole weekend.

At the OT7 National Championships in Ft Lauderdale, Bell reflected on the Elite11 week in an exclusive interview with NewEraPrep:

“It was an absolute blessing to receive an invite to the Elite11. The history of elite quarterbacks that have come through the camp speaks for itself. It was a great opportunity to connect with some of the best QB’s in the country, learn and compete with them…” Bell stated. “The biggest thing from last week that I’ve implemented into my game is actually off the field. When we first got there, the trainers taught us proper ways to recover and breathing techniques. I’m excited to add that to my game.”

Following the camp, Dia Bell’s national ranking continued to skyrocket. Earlier this afternoon (July 14), Rivals.com revealed their updated top 25 recruits in the 2026 class, and Bell stood as the new #2 recruit in the country, and the #1 QB in the class. Here’s what the scouts had to say about Dia Bell:

Scout’s Take: “From an arm talent perspective, Texas commit Dia Bell is as good as anyone in the 2026 cycle. He’s the definition of a natural thrower. His ability to manipulate the football and throw consistently catchable footballs from multiple arm angles is a treat to watch. He can dice up defenses on Friday evenings and makes special throws. He’s someone that has tons of upside especially as he develops and fills out his frame down the line.”– Rivals.com

Dia Bell becomes the 4th Texas QB Commit since the mid 1990’s to be rated as a top 2 recruit in the country, joining the following:

1999: Chris Simms

2002: Vince Young

2023: Arch Manning
