Miami Jumps To TOP 5 In the AP Poll

New Era Prep- The Miami Hurricanes moved up 5 spots in this weeks college football rankings. After the Canes season-opening win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Sunday UM moved up to No. 5 in the AP polls released early this week. 66,793 were in attendance at Hard Rock Stadium Sunday night as the Canes fans watched a season opening 27-24 victory over the then No.6 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Irish have since fallen to No.9 after the defeat .

The Canes were anchored by a stout Miami Defense and veteran leadership by Carson Beck. Also the freshman phenom Malachi Toney who led the team in receiving and the one handed Touchdown catch by CJ Daniels has been all the buzz surrounding the team .

The Hurricanes look to keep building momentum Saturday Night as they host the Bethune Cookman Wildcats at 7pm.
