WEST PALM BEACH, FLA – Football is in full swing in the county and this week we’ve got more action. This week’s slate has a ton of in county action including NEP #4 Palm Beach Central traveling to Park Vista this Friday, 8/28.

PBC comes off of a rainy, low-scoring win over Glades Central 14-9. This game was close through out but PBC’s defense was able to keep the Raiders in single digits.

On the other hand, the Cobras of Park Vista come off of a kickoff classic loss to Atlantic and a week one loss to Wellington in a game that was close throughout.

Park Vista has been able to put some points on the board but they weren’t able to stop Atlantic’s offensive attack, and couldn’t close out the win vs Wellington.

Palm Beach Central has won the last three matchups against Park Vista but things might be different this season. Park Vista’s program has expressed that they want and need their respect and this game is an opportunity to gain it against a ranked Broncos team.

PBC has a lot of new this season and it will be fun to see how they put it together, Sophomore QB Isaiah Hamilton has looked really promising since his starting debut in Spring. They came out in their Kickoff Classic with a 30-19 loss to Miami Northwestern, but were able to avenge that loss against Glades Central.

This game will be Park Vista’s home opener and will take place this Friday, August 28th at 6:30pm.
