For years, Palm Beach County has produced some of football’s brightest stars, players who dominated under the Friday night lights before making their mark on Saturdays and Sundays.

Now, heading into the 2026 football season, NewEraPrep is raising the bar once again with the introduction of the most exclusive fraternity in South Florida high school football: The 15ERA.

The 15ERA recognizes the 15 highest-rated rising seniors in Palm Beach County according to the NewEraPrep preseason rankings. Selections are determined through a collaborative vote by the NewEraPrep staff and an anonymous panel of respected area coaches, ensuring every player is evaluated from multiple perspectives.

Our ranking process has always been rooted in one principle: football first. Every evaluation reflects on-field production from the previous season while projecting future success based on growth, development, scheme fit, and overall impact. Our rankings are not determined by scholarship offers, college commitments, recruiting stars, or national rankings. They’re earned through what players put on film.

The complete inaugural 15ERA roster will be unveiled during NewEraPrep Rankings Week, our annual preseason rollout leading into Week 0 contests. 

The 15ERA isn’t just another list. It’s a standard. A brotherhood reserved for the elite.
