The Lions struck first when quarterback Joe Dailey (’25) called a quarterback sneak for a 1-yard rushing touchdown. He also showed off his arm talent all evening, with his highlight pass being a 9-yard touchdown to wide receiver Reggie Workman (’24).
Dailey has shown serious improvement between his sophomore and junior seasons. His best trait as a passer has always been his elite accuracy.
Now, Dailey stands taller and more confident in the pocket, which allows him to shine even more by throwing dots into tight windows.

Another highlight of last night’s game was running back Marion Victor (’24). He led the Lions in rushing with over 75 yards and a touchdown. Regardless of Mater’s defensive game plan, Victor was exploiting them for big gains.

At halftime, there was another weather delay, so both teams agreed to end the game early.
Final score: 23-0 in favor of TKA.
In a lightning shortened game, the Lions come away with a solid 23-0 victory over Mater. The ground game and a relentless defense powered King’s tonight. Things get official next week as we travel to St. Andrew’s. #tkafootball @TKALionsFB @TKAWPB @FlaHSFootball @pbphighschools pic.twitter.com/5UOC4gomqK
