Florida Atlantic Men’s Basketball has been on the rise on the recruiting trail for back-to-back years, landing a four-star recruit both seasons (Josiah Parker ’25, Felipe Quinones ’26).

Well, out of nowhere, head coach John Jakus has landed ANOTHER 4-star recruit in 6-foot-4 guard Franck Belibi Jr., who will join fellow four-star Felipe Quinones in the 2026 class.

Belibi, who was originally committed to Pacific, becomes the the THIRD four-star recruit to come to FAU in just 2 years.

The Englewood, Colorado native has a 6-foot-11 wingspan and played his senior year of high school at Colorado Prep. He was ranked as the #3 prospect from Colorado by ESPN.

In 2025, he competed in the U19 World Cup for Cameroon. When asked about playing at that level, Belibi said “I learned that I can hang with some of the best players in the world.”

Belibi looks to be a hybrid guard who has had plenty of experience playing in pick-and-roll, is a capable 3-level-scorer and defender, and truly excels in transition.

The 6-foot-4 guard will join an already stacked FAU backcourt and looks to be another high-upside player for John Jakus as he finishes out the Owls’ roster for the 2026-27 season.

Welcome to Paradise, Franck!
