Already having an impressive defense, reigning state champions West Boca Raton have gotten even stronger.
Defensive back Jemari Foreman, after a short stint in Cypress Bay this spring, has transferred to West Boca for the fall of his senior year. The 67th-ranked player in the state of Florida in the 2027 class, Foreman is a Florida State commit who holds 26 offers from the likes of Louisville, Auburn, and more.
At Plantation in 2025, Foreman had 10 interceptions, tied for the second-most in the state of Florida. He also had 70 tackles, nine tackles for loss, 11 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and a sack.
Foreman has upper-tier instincts and speed at the safety position, which allows him to make big plays all over the field. In space, the Florida State commit hits with force and rarely misses his target. He sees plays develop, makes a decision, and wreaks havoc on the opposing offense. As a player in coverage, Foreman can make leaping interceptions, ranging from sideline-to-sideline with his speed. It was truly impressive seeing how he attacked the ball in the air or ran under throws that most players would not be able to reach.
West Boca, with the addition of Loia Valade, already had the makings of a top-tier secondary. They have the cornerback play to go toe-to-toe with the best teams in Florida, while their safeties have the range and tackling ability to be contributors all over the field.
With Foreman now in the fold, the floor and ceiling for West Boca’s unit have increased considerably. Valade and Foreman could be one of the best safety duos in all of Florida, and their presence will help cornerbacks like Larry Morgan, Delorean Airall, and Carlton Jackson III be the best versions of themselves. This does not even speak to the trenches, where players like Jamar Thompson and Javion Herrington will benefit from the talent behind them.
It will be fascinating to see how the Bulls’ defense comes together, but make no mistake, the addition of Jemari Foreman makes West Boca even more dangerous ahead of the 2026 season.
