The Arizona Cardinals selected quarterback Carson Beck with the 65th overall pick in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, adding a polished and productive passer to their future at the position.
Beck enters the NFL after a strong final collegiate season with the Miami Hurricanes in 2025, where he elevated his draft stock with one of the most productive years in the country. After transferring from the Georgia Bulldogs, Beck took full command of Miami’s offense and delivered a high level campaign that showcased his accuracy, poise, and consistency.
During the 2025 season, Beck posted 3,813 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions, while completing 72.4% of his passes. He also recorded a 157.0 passer rating across 16 games, along with 43 rushing yards, demonstrating his ability to extend plays when needed. His production placed him among the nation’s most efficient and productive quarterbacks.
Beck’s performance was defined by both volume and efficiency. He ranked 4th nationally in passing yards, while his high completion percentage ranked among the best in the country for quarterbacks with at least 300 pass attempts. His production was also balanced, throwing for 1,970 yards at home and 1,843 yards in road and neutral site games, showing he could perform in any environment. While he matched a previous high with 12 interceptions, his overall offensive output and control of Miami’s system kept him firmly in the upper tier of draft prospects.
For Arizona, Beck represents a developmental quarterback with proven production against top competition. As he joins the Cardinals, Beck brings momentum from a standout final season and the opportunity to grow into a potential long-term option at quarterback.
