Four -Star quarterback Kevin Verpaele has committed to the University of South Florida for the 2027 season.

Out of Merritt Island High School, Verpaele is a top three quarterback in Florida on the Rivals300. Verpaele also received offers from the University of Florida, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and decommitted from Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
In his junior year, Verpaele threw for 2714 yards and 27 touchdowns.

Prior to the announcement, CEO of Athletics Rob Higgins posted on his X that “Some people were simply born to be BULL!!!”.
Verpaele will be headlining the 2027 season in the American to lead the recruiting class.
